Undergraduate Students


  • Australian citizen or PR only
  • An Australian citizen or a New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or holder of a permanent; humanitarian visa
  • Participating in the Monash Engineering Leadership Program at the time of application and for the duration of the scholarship
  • Penultimate students with an interest in traffic and road infrastructure would be highly regarded


  • Enthusiasm
  • Strong communication skills
  • A keen interest in applying University knowledge to a commercial environment


  • $10,000 per 48 credit points
  • Duration of scholarship is for two years

Selection Criteria

  • The scholarship will be awarded to a Monash Engineering Leadership Program student on the basis of academic performance and on interview performance.
  • If equally qualified, preference will be given to female applicants as a minority group in Engineering.
  • Recipients must retain a minimum of a 70 Weighted Average Mark (Distinction Average)
  • Double Commerce/Engineering degrees are highly regarded

The scholarship cannot be deferred.
